FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
Both the 'BOX' and 'FILES' subscriptions are quarterly, meaning you will be billed for and receive a new project every 3 months (x4 projects per calendar year).
The 'BOX' subscription contains access to all digital files* AND everything you will need to complete the project (e.g. fibre, needles**, etc.). This option is currently only available to customers in the U.K (excluding Northern Ireland).
The 'FILES' subscription contains ONLY the digital files and no physical items. This option is perfect if you have a good supply of needle and wet felting fibres and equipment or if you are an international (outside of the U.K.; excluding the EU and Northern Ireland) customer.
*You will require a device with internet access to watch the tutorial and access the digital files.
**Please note: that needles will only be included with the 1st subscription box and then every 3rd project thereafter.
Every 'BOX' subscription contains:
- A needle felting and/or wet felting project; designed and created by professional fibre artist, Nicola Dean.
- Everything* you need to complete your project.
- A link** to detailed, step-by-step video tuition that you can follow at your own pace.
- Diagrams (when required) to help you get dimensions and shapes correct.
- Full list of materials included incase you want to make more.
- Permission to sell items you make from the design/tuition.
- Access to a dedicated Facebook group for additional support and tuition from Nicola, meeting new people, competitions, challenges and more…

New subscribers:
The date your first 'BOX' subscription is shipped will depend on what date you joined. If you joined before the cut off date for the current quarter, your 'BOX' will be shipped at the end of the first month in that quarter. If you joined after the cut off date, your 'BOX' will be shipped at the end of the first month of the next quarter. Existing subscribers:
Your 'BOX' subscription will be shipped by the last day of the month in which you were billed.
You will receive an email, once your 'BOX' subscription has been shipped.

A 'FILES' subscription is perfect for people who already have a good stash of needle / wet felting supplies.

The difference between this and the BOX subscription box is that you will NOT receive any physical products (e.g. fibres, needles etc.). However, you will get a full list of items you will need.
The 'FILES' subscription is also available for international (outside of the U.K.; excluding the EU and Northern Ireland) customers.

The date your first 'FILES' subscription is emailed to you will depend on what date you joined. Your first payment will be taken immediately, at sign up; then subsequent payments are set to recurring billing on the 3rd-4th of the first month in every quarter (therefore you will be billed once every 3 months. Please see the Subscription Schedule for more information.
Yes, you can cancel, pause or skip a project of your subscription at any time. If you would like to do this please log in to your account and amend your subscription settings.
If you pause or skip your subscription for longer than 3 consecutive projects, your subscription will be cancelled.

'BOX' SUBSCRIPTION BOXES: Delivery for The Felting Flock BOX subscription is charged at Royal Mail rates for 2nd Class (small parcel). The cost of shipping is exactly what The Felting Flock pays, no extras are added. Shipping costs will increase/decrease as Royal Mail's prices change. You will be notified, before payment is taken, of any postage price increases.
'FILES' SUBSCRIPTIONS: Your files will be emailed to you, so there is no delivery charge.
EVERYTHING ELSE: The cost of delivery for one-off purchases will be calculated in the checkout. You will also be presented with any delivery options available.
Don't worry all of our subscription boxes (and one-off purchases wherever possible) are designed to be letterbox friendly. So, if you have a standard sized letterbox they should fit through and be waiting for you when you get home!
We also add a little sticker to the front to tell the delivery person that your package is letterbox friendly ;-)
Purchases of one-off products will be shipped within 3 working days.
In December 2024 the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) came into action. Whilst The Felting Flock's products are safe, unfortunately, as a small business, it is not a viable option, at this time, to employ an authorised representative in the EU to meet the requirements of GPSR. Therefore, The Felting Flock took the difficult decision to cease trading with customers in the EU and Northern Ireland. Sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
